I wanted to talk to him and get an idea when he thought my malabsorption would improve to the point to where I no longer needed to take creon. He said that 2 years from his personal experience and from discussions with his colleagues at bariatric conferences, seemed to be the point when things settled in. He wants to see labs every few months and then in 6 months if things have not improved significantly we would look at options including lengthening the common channel. He did not think that was likely nor do I want to have to do that, so I am hoping that things get better....absorption, creon situation, welchol for burning butt and guy, and chronic anal fissure i have from frupped up bowels from all these meds.
