Yep, last night, I was upset...today, not so much. It was going to happen sooner or later - he was headed nowhere and I'm just not into someone who won't pull their weight.

I'm so glad your dad is coming and sorry that this is a time of stress/upheaval on the relationship front. It seems it is time for a fresh start! Please make sure you only enter into surgery now if *you* are confident you are physically and emotionally ready for it.

Dear Cat, I wish you had a perfect way clear through this surgery. No one does! My hubby has been so fantastic throughout my surgery and so far one day home. It has been great and a little unexpected. He is not always great about me being sick. The point is that people will surprise you. He has been a great support. If my sister could have come or my angel, they would have kicked some ass at the hospital! I think the main thing is to just use some common sense as we learn how to survive this surgery and our new bodies.
