I bought a variety pack of Quest Bars, so I thought I'd give some feedback on each flavour once I've tried it. Each bar contains 20 or 21 g Protein and from 3-7 g Net Carbs depending on the flavour. Note: these are chewy style bars. This is how it's gone so far:

Coconut Cashew: I don't like coconut, so I gave this one to my son who does. He said it was like eating just coconut, and was not a fan. He tried warming it in the microwave, as some have suggested, but it was no better. He ended up throwing most of the bar away.

Banana Nut Muffin: I was looking forward to this one, but to me, it was a bit of a let down. I would have preferred it without the nuts, I think. Warming it didn't help. I will try it again, though, as it is possible that the taste was just "off" because I was just 2 weeks post-op when I had it. Update: I tried this flavour again, and it wasn't bad. Just not in the same category as the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough one.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough: Yum! This one is what inspired me to do a review of these bars. I'm still busy eating it (takes a bit of time for me), but I am really enjoying it!

I'm pre-op still, but decided to do some tasting before I heard about tastes changing after surgery. I only had the white chocolate raspberry and LOVED it. I hope I still like them after surgery.

I've only tried the white chocolate raspberry and the cashew coconut. They are much better than any others I've tried and I do like having an easily portable source of protein that doesn't require refrigeration.

I've been wanting to get some of these but wondered if they were really what they said they were. Good to know they are good sources of protein.

They aren't bad - better than nasty shakes! But that said, they aren't what I expected....I thought they were bars, they're more like a blob of taffy. If you have dental issues, you definitely want to nuke them in the microwave a few seconds to soften them. They are very filling!

Good that's what I wanted to hear! I am ditching the yogurt train as it has too many carbs for my liking....but I need something EASY, very easy to just eat when Im peckish. I got the brownie one and the peanut butter one, should be here Monday and I can't wait!

Mine came!!!! Yay!!!! I've been lusting after cake/brownies etc for a few days....and the brownie quest bars were perfect!!! Shut that junk food junkie up and filled me to the brim with 20g of protein :) Tomorrow I shall try my peanut butter ones. mmmmm

I wanted to like these things, but nope, hated 'em. The only protein "bars" I've found remotely palatable are the wafer kind....Oh crap, I forgot the name....And Vitalady's bars. Oh yeah, and Luna protein bars, especially the chocolate mint.

I didn't love it like I love brownies, but it was chewy enough and had enough taste that it kept me from being stupid. And anyone who tries pure carbs (like I did ONCE!) is friggen stupid and deserves the 20 hours of agony lol. (I learn quick, can you tell? lol)

I find the ones that have "chunks" in them to be the most palatable with the chewiness. The chocolate chip cookie dough, white chocolate raspberry & double chocolate chunk all have chunks of chocolate and the cookies and cream has chunks of "Oreo cookies". I don't care for the ones that are just chew as much.

The power crunch bars are awesome, taste like a wafer candy bar, but the protein:carb ratio is a bit less than I'd like for a daily protein supplement so I keep those for a snack when I want a sweet treat.

So, I can eat this without nuking, I must have a grill of steel. But, I always taste salt! lol. I've read reviews where people have a sweetener aftertaste, but not me. I taste salt. I just ordered a load more though. These are my new sandwich. LOL. I'm all about easy food. And these are very easy. I am going to have to put limits on it though as I can already seem some disordered thinking sneaking in and one cannot exist on quest bars alone.
