Oh my goodness. So sorry to read this. Hoping for fast and full healing!

My son, Cody Jensen, is the leading Quarter Horse jockey in the US. Prayers please...yesterday morning at Riodoso Downs, my son was on a horse that they were loading into the gates, the horse rared up and Cody went off, he landed on his side and the horse lost its footing and came down on top of him and then rolled over him. Cody has a broken vertebrae and 6 broken ribs. They are transporting him to Albequerque to the trauma center at UNM.

So the tear in his lung sealed up and they sent him home. He is comfortable with pain meds but since ribs 1 through 6 are cracked at the spine, it is uncomfortable to lie down, or sit, or stand. I hope to talk with him today

that seems like good news, not that he is uncomfortable but that they sent him home. I hope the meds are enough and he has any help he needs.
