See if there is a consignment shop that caters to the nicer lines. Or maybe donate them to women re-entering the work force that need nice clothes. Surely there is something for women along the same line as men who get suits for job interviews.I wanted to give some of my nicer stuff to others on their way down the digits but that Facebook site I found you have to pay the shipping too!! I would be giving up on the tax write off as it is. I have some stuff that's too big and I can't part with it cause I paid so much for it. I do need to find a good home for some things.
Yes, those places do exist for women. I donated at least a dozen suits to such an organization. The bigger ones were kind of ugly as one would expect, yet those in the lower 20's range were quite nice. Dress for Success in Nashville wasn't interested.
