Had my Prolia injection on the 4th. I'm happy to say the doctor was pleased with my DEXA results; no change. He offered me the choice of getting a scan next year or in two years. Just a little change in my thyroid dose. I can live with all of it.
I was under the impression that Prolia shots were every 6 months and Medicare pays for mine scheduled that way.Where I have to be careful is abiding by the one year plus one day for the Prolia itself.
You're correct. I was just moaning about the pickiness of the government. I think "once a year" means anytime once a year anytime as long as the last two numbers aren't the same. i.e. Dec 2024 then Nov 2025.I was under the impression that Prolia shots were every 6 months and Medicare pays for mine scheduled that way.

One would think as much as I have been around the Federal Government in healthcare and the military I should know better.
Dental insurance is strange. On my current dental insurance, twice a year means any two days within that calendar year, even two consecutive days. My previous dental insurance said it meant the two dates had to be six months apart and not a day less.
