Orthopedic issues...

I so wanted to say to my ortho when he told me I had bone on bone arthritis in my thumb, "hmmm.. how does obesity play a role in arthritis in my THUMB???"

I actually had the balls to ask this way back when. I got some speech about chronic inflammation going through the body, blah blah blah. Let me tell youuuuuuuu, when my hip collapsed and it was found that my arthritis was a hereditary sort, I wanted to find each and ever Dr who said 'its cos you are fat' and ring them and scream down the phone "I told you so wanktits!" and hang up lol.

It's frustrating! I know I was really really REALLY large....but FFS, there are so many others who started where I did or are still where I was who do not have any of the issues I did. Drs are so quick to blame fatness.
