The best advice that I can give you is to research, research, research. Research the procedures, research the surgeons, research the nutrional requirements, research the supplement requirements. I did all of those things and while I am terrified of the actual surgery (it is mostly the going under that bothers me), I know that this is right for me. I am ready to change everything about my life!
I wish you the best of luck and I have to tell you that of all the forums out there, the people in this one have been the nicest, most helpful, and non-judgemental of all of them. There is a lot of good information here.
