how's the smoke by you, SB?
And meanwhile, my sister and BIL are currently living at a Hilton type establishment, where the complimentary breakfast now consists of brown paper bag containing an apple or orange (depending on what they have), a Nature Valley Granola Bar and a bottle of water. They blame COVID-19, but they could do way better than that.

I'm here, with lots of smoke in the air. This morning when I took out the recycling, there was ash on all the garbage bins. Air quality is bad and at 9:45 am it's dark outside. So I checked the local news and apparently the smoke is coming from north of here, as all the local fires (3 big ones) are somewhat controlled. I opened some windows to let in the cooler night air, now that it's finally cooling off at night, but now my eyes are starting to feel irritated so I'm going to close them.
California - I love living here most of the time, but it makes you wonder about the future.

Stay safe. The wildfires/earthquakes are two of the reasons living out west is off our future card. Heat/humidity/tornadoes is why the south is not an option.

If we can make it work, the northeast is high on the list. But we have 3 years til our truck is paid off.
