My 8 year old Cattle Dog Cookie has Lymphoma. Nothing they can do really but give her Steroids and a Chemo med in pill form so she lives the rest of her shortened life in comfort.

So very sad.

I'm sorry. Our daughter's younger rescue kitty had it, too. AND an auto immune disease that required that all her teeth be removed.

It was heartbreaking to watch her deal with it.

I am so sorry to hear of your beloved Cookie's diagnosis. Our fur babies are so dear to us. I hope he can spend his days without pain. (((HUGS))))

oh, no. I am so sorry. 8 is not very old, did they give you any idea how much longer you will have Cookie?
she looks like a sweetie.

I'm so sorry Whit. Cookie must be very special. May her days be comfortable and filled with love and play.

6 months. she is special I adopted her when my dad died 6.5 years ago.
Thanks all.

Whit, 6 months is forever to a dog - you are already working to make sure she is comfortable, just love her all you can while you have her. it's really all we can do anyway - we never know how much time we have with family.

:(

I'm so sorry! Keep her comfy and give her all the love she deserves. she is very fortunate to be a part of your family.
