Wow. I didn't realize Dean Kamen was involved. Ironically, back in the day, he used to sponsor a university engineering publication with which my husband was involved when he was an undergrad. Apparently, Dean was such a big fan of a local pizza joint near the campus that he would fly a small plane into from time to time just to pick up a couple of pies. This ostentatious act made quite an impression on Charles, who at the time was the epitome of a starving student. Maybe an excess of a certain pizza led to a desire to enjoy it all, but with 30% less calories?
