Thanks M. That stuff is almost impossible to get in the staes....hope you get relief for your issue.

I would suggest emailing Dr k and explaining your situation and asking if he has any ideas your tea Melbourne can try. He loves to help even if they aren't his patients.

Thanks DSRIGGS, Much appreciated.

Sorry about that but the system is set that way to avoid spammers who usually post links in their first few posts. We set it to require 10 and more than 24 hours since registration. Well, it's been 24 hours but you still need a few more posts under your belt.

Southernlady, Thankyou

@Larra - I figured there might be some reason to hesitate; however, with bile reflux and intractable gastroparesis, perhaps it would be an option for her, with an excellent surgeon.

@Ms M , yes though I would suggest something a little less extreme - median rather than distal - distal RNY is just the worst of both RNY and DS.

Larra and Diana, You are both right i have had many abdominal surgeries and most of them have been open I've had gallbladder removal surgery, two hernias, three lap bands, one duodenal switch, duodenal switch reversal, two rny gastric bypass surgeries, two bile reflux surgeries that did not work and one bowel obstruction with suffocation of the bowel (intestines) So my surgeon doesnt want to do any more open surgeries as he said it's very risky and this is why he was hoping that going the endo stitch route would help.

Anyway thanks to all that have responded I really appreciate it.

Kind Regards M

Oh my goodness @Ms M You have been through it. I thought Scott and myself had been through it but you clearly make my issues look trivial. You have had 7 WLS. Your poor gut. Hang in there I hope they can help you some permanent way soon!!!
