Pre-op I took HCTZ with no problems other than it lowered my potassium and I add to add an Rx potassium. (can't remember the name)

PS. Your PTH needs to be at the low end of range if possible so the HTCZ MAY help with that along with the calcium absorption. IDK, I only play doctor with people of the opposite sex. Just my preference.

Compression stockings work well and don't have side effects on anything other than sense of style... Basic versions can be purchased at any medical supply store or online. I'd highly recommend giving them a go for travel or days involving lots of standing....
