I have been a bit of a wreck since my gall bladder surgery. Three abdominal surgeries in six months was really a lot. I've been struggling with terrible fatigue. I feel weak. I picked up my cat the other day, and almost couldn't hold him.
BUUUUUUT, I got on the scale today, and I'm 166 lbs. that's 43 lbs since my surgery, and 100 less than my highest weight. So, I'm 5'4, 166, and a size 12. Exactly the avaerage size of an American woman.
And, I bought not one, but two, swimsuits without crying or any self loathing, other than the ungodly whiteness of my skin in fluorescent lighting. I saw a colleague I haven't seen in 6 months or so, and his face almost fell off. He told me I looked 20 years younger.
I guess it is better to look good than to feel good
