On Monday, someone I know started a new job. It begins with several orientation days and then the training class starts. It’s an entry level gig, not high paying…starts at a bit over $50k/year* but goes up to the low six figures in a few years, so not a BAD gig.

The person I know read the info that said Business Casual. And found SEVERAL new coworkers, almost ALL in their early 20s, in crop tops, flip-flops, leggings and sweaters, etc.

Have they NO SENSE at all? They will probably all vote, huh? I’m scared.

* $50k a year, in LA, would be about $2800/mo net and after renting a one bedroom apartment, you’d have about $300 left for food, utilities, gasoline, medical, etc. (Geography counts.)

That’s not Business Casual in any way, shape, or form!

And yes, geography counts. They’d likely need about 5 roommates to survive.
