Hi all!

Well, alas my weight lost as come to an end about 10 pounds short of what I want. So, I talked to my PCP and my diet doc (the psychologist who I did the liquid fast with for years).

I got down to 134 but, I've seem to stabilize between 139 and 142. I want to be 130 -132 before plastics.

I'm going to knock the last 10 pounds on a liquid fast with Phentermine to help me through it.

So, in the past, I had a group when I did the fast, this time, I don't. I'm hoping to just have a thread where I can check in on my weight everyday with the group and get some support. I figure, for 10 pounds at this weight, I'm on the fast for 6 weeks.

So, dear friends who have been through the battle of bulge for your lifetime and have solved it, can you please help me out here. I really want to get rid of the fat on my tummy. (If I could only move it to my butt and boobs that would be good, but alas) it does not work that way)

Thank you all. (Oh, I took phentermine this morning. It takes a few days for the buzziness to go away but it's fun while it lasts ;-) )

Best of luck! You will get this! After all when was the last time you went on a diet and only wanted to lose 10lbs! And your body will continue to change and rearrange over time. You will never have no tummy without plastics but you will continue to improve a bit more!

Thanks for the support. I know only 10 pounds!!!!!!! I thought wow, that is crazy. I've never dieted for just 10 pounds. I was blown away at that number.

I know I need plastics, just the time to do it is the issue.

You know, I so love this board. I thought so much about what you wrote Munchkin and what other people would understand 10 pounds is nothing and say your tummy wont be flat until you have plastics.

You know my weight has been such a PITA my whole life and no one understood until I found this board.

Thanks all. Made it through the first day of the fast. It takes 3 to 4 days for the crazy hunger to go away. Once I get through this, I can get off the phentermine. I hope.

Although today was pretty fun being a bit loopy, but it wears off. lol

Thanks all. Made it through the first day of the fast. It takes 3 to 4 days for the crazy hunger to go away. Once I get through this, I can get off the phentermine. I hope.

Although today was pretty fun being a bit loopy, but it wears off. lol

I agree. My fingers are crossed that it won't take 6 weeks but it's smart to plan on the worst case scenario.

Thanks all for all the support! I think without this board's support, I would slip, so thank you all for helping me in this journey. I'm still delighted it's just 10 pounds. I've never needed to lose just 10 pounds. The DS is a miracle I'm thankful for every day.

No carb is sort of similar. You wish you could just sleep for 5 days then wake up already adjusted to it!

Thanks! Today was 139, so moving in the right direction. I guess this is bounce back I'm fighting because I was down to 135 at one point.

Day 3 of the fast. Damn I'm so hungry. It will pass.
