Where does one find this elusive Pear Butter of which y'all speak?? And IF one were willing to pop her pear butter cherry, is there a best brand? Imagining this is a boutique brand thing?

I have only ever had home canned pear butter but I thought I saw some at a grocery store once. Well, that was a big help, huh? Get Spikey to make it and send you some.

Pear butter makes a great side to Pork roast. Similar to apple sauce.

Oven Baked pears. Yum.

I get the Kozlowski Farms stuff from either Safeway (a seasonal thing for some of their products) or World Market.

Not too bad in August....my PTH has come down, my D has gone up. Still not optimal, but out of the danger zone. Had to up my zinc a bit, and need to get that redrawn. Still need iron infusions, but that's a given. All is well with you? I hope?

They have lots of wonderful things. I love their pickles, even their pickled eggs, which normally don't turn my crank.
