...from the Czech Republic, is vacuuming my carpet.

I don't know why he works for the cleaning company, but he has been here three months and goes home Sunday.

So...there ARE jobs.

Hmmmm….Not really understanding the intent of your post Spiky?? Sounds like you’re fishing?..lol So....I’ll bite! Why would a BMW QE from the Czech Republic need to be in the US cleaning carpets anyway? Are there no BMW carpets left to clean in Czechoslovakia, or is he just coming over here to the US to satisfy the insatiable lustful greed of Corporate America because he will work twice as long for half the salary of an American worker, all under the false pretense spewed by the CEO’s in America that they can’t find enough “Qualified” Quality Engineers to clean BMW carpets?

I cannot answer any of those. He said he was here to visit...probably not a legal hire in terms of appropriate visa. He has been here three months, going home tomorrow.

It just struck me as weird.

And I wonder how many US QC engineers mop and vacuum anywhere. He didn't seem to think this job was " beneath" him.

(Btw, he wasn't great at this job. But he was trying.)
