I am newly diagnosed with hypothyroidism and was prescribed Synthroid. Does this need to be taken away from vit/min supplements?
On a non-DS note, is the natural hormone replacement preferred over the synthetic? I saw an NP today who was horrible but I took the rx and figured I'd find a real doctor by the time the next blood draw is due.

Yes. And with water. Best way is to take it during a middle of the night pee run. I chew mine slightly. I personally think it give it a slight head start to being absorbed.

If you can get a natural, yes but most insurance companies won’t pay for it. And they usually fill it generic.

I don't have a middle of the night pee run on a consistent bases so I take mine an hour before I start my daily vitamins. My Dr also recommended that I chew it a little before swallowing. So far so good... :leap:
