I am getting switched on Wednesday
Very excited I was wondering if there was something someone had enlightened you with before the surgery..... What to pack ., pain level.just little things you wished you had known.... I'll pay it forward I promise

Welcome Kryssi1973. There's a lot of info about that on the site. Where are you having your surgery?

Hi @Kryssi1973 and welcome! I'll bet you are excited!! I had my revision to DS on October 3rd and I'm feeling great - I was one of the lucky ones who had very little pain at all. Your mileage may vary.

Two things I am glad I did not forget:
1. Lip balm
2. Phone charger

As @Clematis said, there's a lot of info about what to bring on the site... but of everything, I found those to be the most must-have items :)

Welcome Kryssi. :) My only tip is that if you have concerns about nausea, ask your surgeon about scopolamine patches. My doc put me on the scopolamine patch before I went in for surgery, and I stayed on them for awhile, even after coming home. It made it easier for me to get things down and keep them there. Hope everything goes well!
