I get my feelings hurt, and I immediately reach for the M&Ms. Even though I've lost all my weight and I'm maintaining rather effortlessly at this point, days like this remind me that I'm still mentally screwed up.

(I wish I could just write people off...my ******* sisterinlaw just keeps on breaking my heart....)

Shannon, I am sorry...while WLS fixes our body, it doesn't fix everything else. And there are STILL people who are ******** around us...my full sister is the one in my life.

Sorry @shann. But we all definitely have that one person, who is usually family, that just the sound of their name and we know there will be tears, sadness, cops or something bad involved. Mine is my daughter's father.

do you want to tell us what she did?
meanwhile, my brothers are almost totally useless and the one sister in law I have unfriended me on facebook.
and sometimes I turn to candy, no doubt.

I had a really rough day at the office today so I ate chips, cookie, and a huge caramel. I ate it all in a very short time frame and it was down before I knew what I was doing. Now I feel ill. I am not going to beat myself up. I have a plan for tomorrow. Cheese and other snacks ready for tomorrow.

Cut your self some slack!

Best

The great thing about our DS's is that on occasion we can give in to those stupid urges. We can take some comfort in the food, then live thru the physical consequences. Then back onto the plan

Of course these crutches don't fix the problems. We still have to deal with our families

I hope you find a way to deal with yours
