That joke reminds me of something one of my employees did a couple of months ago.
We have an online help chat option on our site for customers to communicate with my customer service reps. So a customer opens a chat and says he's having problems logging into his account. My employee says to him in response...ok Sir I'll be happy to help you. Do you have access to a computer? The customer was like ummmm....is that a joke? At that point she realized what she had said and started apologizing profusely and was properly mortified. Thankfully the customer had a good sense of humor. She printed out her chat and brought it to me and said omg I'm such an idiot! Look what I did!
Yeah...she got the dunce of the month award. Lol
