I'm not going to weigh again this week but I will talk about my exercise: I have been doing well taking a walk most days and going on easy hikes when they are offered (meetup) but have not been consistently doing my stretches and I really need to.
Even if I do them once a day I am barely holding my own: not getting stiffer but not getting more limber, either. I mean I stiffen up at a rate that I should be doing them twice a day I think.

anyway, my goal for the next week is to do them ONCE every day. start there.

Greetings from Scotland! The weather hasn't been what I'd call summery - in the 60s, though mostly blue skies or clouds (no rain). Haven't ended up doing nearly as much of the walking as I'd planned, but I did drag my folks up a big hill (Eildon Hills) behind our cottage. My mum was rightly very proud of herself. The hills were part of a Roman advance fortress in the first century, Trimontium (three hills - very literal namers, the Romans). We also visited Loch Lomond; the Kelpies; and Abbotsford, home of Sir Walter Scott and with lovely walled gardens.

Off to Edinburgh tomorrow by myself for the day, and back down to London later in the week for some cat sitting.

Today 181.1
Last Sunday 184.9

I’ve been all over the 180s as I await the results of the most recent testing I did for the gastroenterologist. I just took my first sample dose of IBGard, it must be strong stuff because it instantly gave me a headache and had my guts singing. I have done 8 short rides on my Peloton exercise bike so far since I got it on the 30th.

Talking about your exercise is a good thing. What type of stretches? And yes, every day would help.

Love the photo. You look a lot like your mom. Being in Scotland sounds great.

Good going.

Still very active with walking, biking, and riding. Don't feel like facing the scale today though.

I do a series of mostly back stretches I got from a Miranda Esmonde-White video. I have some regular exercise CDs from her but never got strong enough to do them and, where I'm living, don't have room. she really kicks butt (and I am not very strong) but meanwhile I do the stretches. usually.

Did your background checks one through, do you start cleaning soon?.
I got to do ONE day, last Wednesday, even though the security clearance didn't come through yet. I had to be escorted and never out of sight of my boss. Hopefully tomorrow it will be here. The job looks to be very physical BUT do-able and pretty much low stress, please god. just what I need! meanwhile, the hunt for a better place to live goes on. I went to one place today and have one scheduled for tomorrow. grueling work. :frown:

Last week: 212.8
This week : 212.8
I guess we're doing another stall. What's aggravating is I was below 210 earlier this week,
Isn’t that aggravating? However, I couldn’t lose weight at the same time as inches (except the first month).

Can completely understand. Sounds like you are very active.
