I was more active this week and exercised 5 days (yay, me). I have three weeks until hernia surgery and realized I will not be able to bend or lift for quite some time after surgery and have been cleaning and organizing everything. I spent last week working on the garden and cleaning out the garage. Tackling closets this week. My goal is to continue to work in the exercise next week.

Have a good week everyone!

A busy and stressful week and still managed to see movement. My husband just went out of town for a few weeks, so it will be interesting to see how the routine is when I'm holding down the fort alone.

I am well past my goal weight and am almost "normal" according to the BMI. I must admit it feels weird, and sometimes I still see a fat version of myself when I look in the mirror or down at my legs.

This week I have gotten a lot of "don't lose any more" or "you've lost too much" comments which are really getting annoying. For goodness sake I'm still 160lbs, I'm not sickly. I'm over these comments.

Good going.

If a stranger or your doctor says that, pay attention. Everyone else, coworkers, friends, family, are still seeing you with "fat" eyes.

Last week 146
This week 140!!!

Getting back on track and back in a routine helped.

Wow - that is an awesome drop!!!

Normal BMI is super!!!

I'm gonna do this a little bit different this week since I don't have an actual LW/TW weight being just six days post op:

SW/HW 298
Pre-op W 275
CW 269

I haven't seen 269 in years! And I'm still bloated from surgery :-D

Yay! It gets better from here.

Well, I've been very, very bouncy. Big drop from being sick, then, I was put back on antibiotics which made me gain water weight. I got down to 147, then, popped back up to 153 and now, I'm done with the antibiotics and starting to drop the water weight. Not sure where I will end up. Hoping for the best, but we will see where I am next week

LW - 147
TW - 150

Looking forward to seeing the scale go down more.

Last week. 141
This week. 138!!

This makes exactly 100 down from my pre-op two week diet which I started on 5-26-16. Surgery was 6-10-16. I'm now about 6 pounds from entering "normal" BMI-land! I've gotten some of the "don't lose much more" comments but I'm not letting them bug me. When strangers say it, as Southern Lady said, then I'll worry. Hubby says no way do I look sickly, he says "you look great", and I trust him. It's all very surreal and I keep having the Cinderella feeling, and I DON'T want midnight to ever come!

2 weeks ago 178
Today 178
Funny thing, this DS. Still learning 4+ years out. When I'm super strict, i.e., less than 50 carbs per day, the damn scale won't budge. When I indulge- my daughter's bday this week, and she left the cake here- I maintain or drop a pound or 2. I'm happy. I'll keep on keeping on. And if I live at 178, so be it. People say I look "great", and I didn't have this surgery to have to "diet" the rest of my life.
Have a great week, everyone!
