I hope everyone had a good week. I’m getting ready for NYD cooking. Southern tradition has us eating pork, supposedly hoppin’ john but I just do black eyed peas, rice, and greens. Since Charles hates most greens, my choices are very limited, so I’m doing cabbage. Hey, it’s green.
Actually where we live now, they do pork and sauerkraut. Not sure of the reason but it does mean the pork loin is on sale and I make a mean pork roast.
