I spent most of the last half of the week noming on ham. I love ham. But what ham is leftover is now what’s in the freezer. So I made a County Cassolet for supper last night. It’s not really a soup but it sure hits the spot on cold nights. It’s meat is sausage but with lots of fiber.

Anyway, time to play in the Christmas smilies.

whoops! it was a festival of carbs this week, for sure. I have signed up for an online class called Conquer your Carbs so even if I don't learn anything I don't already know I expect to be inspired. As I've said, my goal this winter is not to gain. so, back to that this week.

Liz, glad you are maintaining and enjoying ham and holiday smilies!

I love having smilies to play with.

Cutting junk carbs is the first place to look. That’s usually the hardest. I tried to make mine a festival of ham…did well til I ran out of thawed leftover ham.

Okay, so you saw a VERY minor bump up. Nothing to worry over. It’s nothing in the grand scheme.

I hope you had a good Thanksgiving.
Thank you! I was getting worried since it was a bump instead of a loss for the week. This puts my heart at ease.

I hope you had a fantastic thanksgiving too!

After my first year, I stopped playing with the numbers on the right side of the decimal. The difference between .6 and .8 just isn’t worth even noticing. I only record in here, the big numbers on the left side.
