I'm now down 71 lbs from my starting weight and nearly 50 lbs from my pre-op weight at 4 months pre-op. I'm not sure if that's good progress, but it's better than being 298 lbs.
Good going. It does start slowing down some the further out you are.

Hang in there. Seems both of us climbed a smidgen this week.

Missed two weeks, but I weighed today. I stair step like crazy and I bounce around 3 pounds during a stair step. But the good news is for 8 weeks I bounced around between 146 and 149. Then, I dropped to 144ish. Then, two weeks later I dropped to 140. I've now been at 140 for 3 weeks, so it's locked in. So happy. 135 is getting ever closer

Three weeks ago: 141
Today: 140

Yay!

Good for you!

It slows down. YOU ARE DOING GREAT.

This is what @southernlady wrote a while ago

Each person has their own journey. BUT you are a lightweight like me.
Have you read THIS thread? http://bariatricfacts.org/threads/its-not-pounds-its-percentages.1844/ What is your height and what would be your weight for a BMI of 24.99 (top end of normal)? Anything above that is excess weight. So if your normal BMI top end was 145 and 146 was overweight, then anything above 145 is excess. NOT where you want to be but what is above normal BMI. AND if you lost weight pre-op, that changes the dynamics as well.

This chart might help. (and notice, these are not by pounds but percentages)!
2 weeks - 5-10%
6 weeks - 10-15%
3 mos - 20-30%
6 mos - 45-55%
12 mos - 60-70%
18 mos - 75-85%

And this my graph. See how much it slowed down.

Haven’t checked-in here in a long time !

Holding steady for months now. I’d still like about 15-20 more pounds. New puppy coming so there will be more walking

2.5 years post op. Still a very happy DS person
