Mine will start getting imaginative when the batteries get low (think they last a little over a year). There's some variation from one weigh to another even if everything's in perfect order.
Oh man! An imaginative scale is so rude!

I am having doubts about my scale because the day I was at the surgeon's office for my six month post op I weighed 200 but my scale said 198. I still have the stent and it's been hard to get hardly anything in. I keep trying though.

Weight loss can slow if your DS is not getting enough protein and calories.

I don’t know what the last time I checked in was but I’m up at 158... vacation, holidays, birthdays, and New Years. Back on track and getting ready for surgery on 2/10!

Just make sure your vitamin levels are optimal and maybe up your protein for the remaining time til your surgery.
