Is there a difference between carbonate, citrate or elemental when it comes to the limit?
Lately I've been switching my calcium intake to UpCal D.
I seem to have less issues with constipation and I need to get away from the B6 in the Kirkland Calcium Citrate, Magnesium and Zinc pills. I did a lot of searching on old threads and I know a lot of the serious veteran DS'ers use this stuff.
But a dose is 2,500 mg Calcium Citrate which works out to 500 mg elemental calcium. Should I worry about quarter doses at a time so I don't go over the 600 mg citrate limit or can I calculate the limit off the elemental mg and enjoy a whole scoop at a time?
Does this even make sense? Actually, since I tend to sip my drinks over an hour or two, it might not matter that much on a practical level, but I want to know!!
