If I had a magic wand, I would point it at the trouble areas and just lose weight there.

even after weight loss is done things are kind of "settling" for awhile - so don't assume your body is done anytime soon.

I am not far off of what I think of as my "goal", see my ticker at the bottom of my posts. I hope to get a bit under goal to accommodate bounce-back. We will have to see what my trip to Rome will do to me starting on Friday. Also, I am quickly reaching the close of my "magic window". I am just going to continue to work my DS in hopes that I can maintain a healthy, comfortable weight. If I had a magic wand, I would point it at the trouble areas and just lose weight there. Fat chance, that Mother F&@*er never worked for me before the DS either.

LOL….Yeah,…but, oh my dear, you do have a magic wand and that’s what is in your heart!

You, or none of us will ever be 18 again and nor would I want to if it came with that same 18 yr old brain…lol I’ve learned to appreciate what I have and not what I had. AND, that’s especially true when you have lost what you have and can now have the really HIGH quality of life and health that you deserve! I’m sure your husband loves you just the way you are. My Wife just turned 52 and she can’t stand the thought of getting wrinkles on her pretty face, so yeah, I know it’s a Woman thing, but I just try to re-assure her and tell her all the time that that doesn’t mean anything and that she will always be beautiful and to stop worrying about it.

Rome? Wow, that sounds VERY exciting! I hope you have so much fun!!

Preach! The weight I'm losing now seems to be coming from my face, collar bones and wrists, the tummy doesn't budge!:confused:
Yep! Oh, my legs are still huge with about a ton of wiggly jiggly fat under crepe paper skin that moves like curtains! It's attractive!

Same here! My legs are finally small enough that I can wear shorts, but the skin, my god, the skin!:poop:

For me, the skin is worse than the fat was. I will see what kind of shorts I can wear this summer. I had one hell of a time finding a few dresses to take on my trip. Not fun!

Yeah, it's one of those things that I "knew" was going to happen, but had no idea just how bad it would be. I got away with wearing capris and maxi skirts last summer, but now the hunt for elbow length sleeves is gonna drive me insane, esp in the SC summer :cautious:

Lauren, I kept running into almost elbow length sleeves in Kohl's last week. They didn't QUITE come to the elbow but MUCH closer than not. I wanted shorter ones but most I saw right now were far too long FOR ME.
