aha! well, I haven't been on one for years and have no plans, BUT I think I should get one if possible.

still reading all the documents required. I moved in JUNE and, legally, had 30 days to get this done.

only got moving when I realized my car's plates expire at the end of August. I often wish someone more competent was in charge of my life!

At some point, you will be unable to fly even within the USA without either a real ID or your passport. The date has changed a couple times because of Covid, and I don't know at what point this will happen, but someday it will happen. So, unless you want to carry an up to date passport with you, you will need the real ID.
