Not Anemic!

Hello! I have been MIA for a bit but wanted to stop in and touch base! Also for the first time in 10 years I am not anemic! Just had a blood draw and everything looks great! My numbers were on the low side but in the normal range and I am more than happy! I will continue to take my prescription iron supplement but Dr said it wasn't really needed! I don't want to take the Chance of my iron plummeting! Who would have thought that having a Rny to Ds revision would make that big of an impact on my iron levels!! I could Chalk it up to taking all the vitamins!

If you are absorbing through your gut, you are way ahead of me! Congrats.

Like you, I would ignore any advice that wants me to go from LOW to BELOW range before supplementing.
