it's opening tomorrow, called Life Itself. I heard about it on the radio, here is an interview with the film's director and Chaz Ebert, his widow. it's just under 11 minutes to listen to and down the page is the trailer. I am really looking forward to this movie.
I always liked him from when I used to watch Siskel and Ebert many years ago and looks like I'm not the only one. seemed to me like they were both smart, but that Roger just had something extra - some more passion about not just the films they were discussing but something larger. life itself, apparently.
FYI - the interviewer, John Hockenberry, has been in a wheelchair for decades - there is part where he talks about disagreeing with Roger about a movie where someone is handicapped. His show is often excellent, I think, I liked the autobiography he wrote - probably he should do another one since it's been a long time.
