amenI hate insurance companies playing doctor.
amen
Except it’s Medicare Part B that pays for test strips. My doctor was more than willing to prescribe up to 5 a day if I needed them. If I had been on insulin, he would have prescribed 10 a day. As it was he said 3 a day. I’m allowed one a day per Medicare rules for one reason only, I am a type 2 not a type 1.They don’t have to PLAY doctor. The insurance companies just BUY medical groups. As in, United Health Care (insurance) owns DaVita Medical, which purchased Health Care Partners Medical Group.
Essentially, your doctor’s income is related to your insurance company.
Typically yes. But Medicare is unlike other insurance companies.Insurance companies keep a doctor on payroll. Thats how they get away with it.
