I have an appointment with "my" NP (have I met her once, or maybe twice) this week and asked to have labs before. I think the results are due to how little exercise and how much junk food I spent the winter having.
my cholesterol is high: 236
my LDL is high: 136
non HDL is high 144
(fyi my HDL is 92 is that's good and I assume it's all the avocados I've been eating)
also my creatine is .5 when the range is 0.6 - 1.1 mg/dL
boo! I'm hoping I can fix it with better habits, and plan to say so if NP wants to add statin or other drugs.
do y'all have any advice for me?
oh, and I drank black coffee for my "fasting" so I hope that's OK. I get different answers about that depending on who I ask. also, I had way too much food the night before right up until about 11 hours before the blood draw. that might make a difference.
