So glad your brother has you. So many have no one to over see them. I think of you often. You are one strong women as many on this site are. My sister with her last breath just wanted to be heard. She too was on a merry-go-round with state insurance. Dr. blamed it on her weight or mental status. I did what I could but knew she was in so much pain and not getting the help she needed in this community with the doctors. My brother was there with her when the firefighters kicked the door down to get to her. My brother said, she kept saying, Can You Hear Me Now! Can You Hear Me Now! These words she left with me and my family. These words bring us comfort when we want to give up, Diane comes to mind and we keep going. Anyone who suffers with mental illness and wants to live has to become a fighter in this system they set up.
