Congrats!

Thanks all. It took 4 hours and he had to open me up. He said I had 600 cm of small bowl and making the stoma was to risky lap because it keep flipping over. He does the Hess and he said counting all that bowel was time consuming. But everything went well. Just waiting to pass gas. I'll be here until at least then. Thanks for all your concerns and I'll keep you posted. MM

@Marquis Mark it's great to see you posting again. Open surgery isn't the end of the world, and it sounds like this was a better safe than sorry situation. Now just walk walk walk and sip (if allowed) and hopefully you'll be home soon.
