I did look at Medicare advantage plans, there are only two of them in my little section of Oregon and it's a really tough question whether I would save any money with them or not because the plans really aren't that good here it seems.
QMB is weird, and no one understands it; it's not medicaid but it seems to follow the same rules and does not pay surgeons even though it's supposed too. If Only I could find out how much that 20% percent is though, 20% of medicare assignment which is who knows what.
Oh well, in a few months when I finally get to see my new Primary care Doc (just moved) I'll just go to somewhere (probably Texas) and get a consult, hopefully then they'll tell me what I'll need to pay.
