Today I read the Great Barrington Declaration. It was formulated by public health scientists concerning the impact on physical and mental health by Covid-19 policies. And I was so impressed. But I decided this needs a deeper dive than the one article I had read.
Boom! Although I really shouldn't have been surprised, another group of public health professionals, have published the John Snow Memorandum with their recommendations on how to approach C-19 in regards to public health policy.
There are similarities in the use of statistics/data both groups used to formulate a policy. However, I've had a long day and my tolerance for serious research is diminishing even as I type this. Perhaps, things will be easier to read tomorrow. Or I may get even more confused.
Just thought I'd throw this out for anyone with more working brain cells than I have at this time to offer their insight to the two schools of thought more comments. If anyone has even more disagreeing policy suggestions, please cite them. I'm open to learning as much as my brain can handle. In the meantime, I'm going to mask up, wash up, and keep some distance from people.
