I called mexicali bariatric today and was wanting to get some infomation to get the ball rolling on getting a Duodenal switch. I inquired about Dr. Rodolfo Wilhelmy and was told Dr. Wilhelmy has taken time off, and the staff is uncertain when he will return.

I am a little bummed out, because after doing all my research he was my top choice for getting Duodenal switch in Mexico. Now after hearing this news I feel I am back to square one.

I had him too, great surgeon, nice person, but I don’t think he’s been there for quite some time, unfortunately!

There is an option at Mexico Bariatric Center, Dr. Rodriguez is a vetted DS surgeon.
