I had to google it. I don't (and never have) watched SNL mostly cause I was working when it first started and now, I'd rather read.
I do enjoy Tom Hanks tho.
I reminded me of my mom...lol. Sometime in the very late 1970s...so I was 40-ish...I got a call from my 65-ish mother late one morning and she sounded VERY confused. She had fallen asleep watching tv and had awakened in the wee smalls. She had not heard of SCTV or the goofy character Guy Caballero, a self-described illegal alien, who owned a cable tv station, was always asking for money, who wore a white suit and a Panama hat and sat in a wheelchair which he didn't need because he felt the chair made others respect him.
Mom started trying to describe what she remembered from the show and it ended with, "...and then the man got out of his wheelchair and started walking around."
(There was a repeat of this about 15 years later when Mom awakened to Eddie Izzard's
Dressed to Kill and there he was, in FULL drag and there Mom was, just as confused.)
I know MiniSue didn't see this because this was a work day for her, which meant a 3:45 a.m. wake up...so
I have no one to explain David S. Pumpkins to me.
Like Mom used to say, "This is how it starts."
Lol
