T minus 27 and counting till I'm on a plane OUT OF NEW JERSEY and off to MT. This time in four weeks I'll be adjusting to the air at a mile above sea level *happy crowing cackle*.

Thus far I have one single and one couple coming to enjoy God's Country with me. Who else wants to come enjoy my grilling skills? (Not to mention my tour guide skills....)

Good thing I appreciate that Mr. EN doesn't do change well.....And that I am so ******* responsible....And that I am bound and determined to finish my double degree at the place where I started. Otherwise I might just plant my ass out there and tell Mr. EN to follow LOL.

I'd like to live through WINTER in the Rockies, compared to winter in NJ....... Um, well, in selected parts of the Rockies LOL. Mr. EN is terrified of winter there. The irony is that he's from the Scranton PA area, and winter up there is very close to hell. I have NEVER experienced anything wintery in MT compared to when the **** hits the fan up there.....Well, there was the time when we got snowed in by a bodacious blizzard in 1979 and I had to hike a couple hundred yards across the drifted-in road and had an asthma attack, but ****, that was ten minutes of my life compared to MONTHS per year of arthritic, damp, whining misery now.....And Mr. EN grew up in a place where you're either hanging off the edge of a mountain by your toenails or trapped in a major flood zone, or both. Sheesh.

In Salmon, Id, the town gets shut off as the pass to Missoula is closed, the pass to Stanley/Boise is closed and the pass the Idaho Falls is closed lol....so yeah, Im not too fond of winters there, but I do miss the summers :) Beats this rainy crap any day lol

Yeah, you can have all the snow and cold you want. I've been snowed in (alone) in Upper Michigan, miles from a soul. It sucked big hairy stinky balls. The sound of snowmobiles was the only thing keeping me sane until I got plowed out. Never understood "cabin fever" until then.

Funny how the cold never bothered me when I was heavy. I rarely wore a winter coat when I was bigger.

Meh, I've seen worse winter weather right here in NJ than we generally had when I was growing up in MT, with the exception of a few weeks where it would get truly COLD, like 20 below, and stay that way for a while.
