So sorry to read about your father. I am a dog lover too and would be concerned about the dogs staying alone. Are you thinking that your cousin would just stop by and check on them only? I was in the hospital for a month due to RNY to DS complications, and my dogs stayed at a friend's house during that time. It was a safer option for them. Is it possible your dogs could stay with your cousin?
