Hi Vets! I am rapidly approaching receiving a surgery date, and one of the big sticking points for my family is the dr/nut advice on food and vitamins vs what "the people on the internet" say I should do. I absolutely trust the vets, to be clear, but it's hard to argue with my family that random people on the internet know more than the dr.
If possible, would a vet (or vets) be willing to start a thread called "Dear Family and Friends" explaining why we should listen to you instead of the drs and nuts. I'm sure the vets have all had to explain over and over why they aren't listening to the drs and why it keeps them alive. I'm sure you can all do it better than I am.
I know this would be helpful for me, and maybe for lots of other newbies and soon-to-be newbies.
