Also @katsmeow07 , you will want to stop thinking about "lunch" and "dinner" and throw the whole "meal" concept out the window. You will be GRAZING from now on. Small amounts (teaspoons) here and there throughout the day. Always carry your drink with you. I use Contigo thermos glasses filled with ice and water with my tea stix mixed in them. I have 3 with me at all times. And I'm almost 5 years out. Stay hydrated.

Forget about eating "meals". And the only reason to count calories any more is to make sure early out that you are getting ENOUGH calories in a day. The world is a different place after DS. It takes some getting used to. Low fat foods are NOT your friend. You will learn to read labels totally differently now. You WANT high fat, but with high protein and low carbs.
