Quick question: did any of the plastic surgeons tell you to stop taking anything before surgery? I had one tell me to lay off the vit E.

Yes Vit E can thin the blood, it is one of several items that should be stopped for 10-14 days prior to surgery

How much vit E is too much? It's in my multivitamin!

Depends on how much is in it, I would check with your surgeon to be sure

Every time I've had surgery, the multi (cause of the vit E) and NSAIDs were the first they told me to stop. Told me to keep taking my K.

thanks @southernlady I was concerned about stopping my multi for that long (two weeks). I still take supplemental A, K and D on top of the multi.

Two weeks to help yourself avoid excess bleeding is worth it. Just start back as soon as you can afterwards.
