Hi Steve and welcome to the forum. I’m a newbie also of month or two. It’s good to have another guy on here! Percentage wise, these sites seem to be mostly woman. Though they are a bunch of caring and extremely knowledgeable and helpful ladies conveying a virtual plethora of information, it is nice to have the male’s perspective once in a while too! @DSSteve. I kept the pain meds up for the first 3-4 days I got home. Then I started to cut back. If the script called for every 4 hours as needed I would go 6 hours then 8 hours. But I continued to take one before bed and when I awoke for a couple weeks. Then I just did one at bedtime for about a week. That worked for me. Keep in mind that pain meds may constipate you.
