Looking at Dr K's diagram of this procedure it looks to me like bile reflux is possible if the pyloric valve is weak at all.
I don't want to hijack this thread but Dr k warned us to make sure we don't get a loop with Cameron's upcoming gastroparesis surgery as bile reflux is likely. I know this procedure is different so I am not sure if the risk is the same.
