"the management structure was very top-down resulting in a gradual sense of disenfranchisement from the team. I feel that building strong open communication is essential in the line of work I do but this is not possible in a totally autocratic system. After some introspection I decided that I wanted to find a workplace with allowed me to grow and flourish and collaborate. In order to do this I need a sharing of ideas, safe boundaries and compassionate core values. I was attracted to this role because I believe you can offer me this". Boom there it is!
 
after all that, she never asked me - gah! because I was so prepared, I suppose. actually, we hardly talked about me at all which is interesting. I asked about the facility and she told me how it was. hmmm.

Part of the interview process is often discerning whether the applicant made an effort to figure out what the interviewer would want to hear, and planning how to work it into the conversation at the appropriate time. In other words, can you anticipate your boss' needs and plan to meet his expectations?
