The following website: The US Dept of Agriculture National Agricultural Library is a good place to find information BUT the values are for those who have NOT had surgery.

The section on vitamins and minerals helps us understand the importance in getting those into our system.

Attached is a copy of the PDF that they have (theirs is sideways, I adjusted this one for easier reading) :p

That PDF is a list of each vitamin/mineral...it's function, symptoms of deficiency and toxicity.

HOWEVER, once you are post op...we try to stay at the high end OF normal...not mid range of just IN range.
Some examples:
Vit D high normal...and they keep adjusting this one and labs haven't all caught up yet.
PTH low end or it indicates a problem with your D & Calcium...basically it's telling you if the PTH is high, you are leeching calcium from your bones.
B12, at least 900, better if over 1000. Mine sits at OVER 2000 and I do not take any extra other than what is in the three Kirkland multis a day.
However, B6, like PTH is better on the LOW end of the scale.

HIGH B6 and LOW B12 have many of the same results...neurological issues. If they are off long enough, it CAN cause permanent damage to the nerves.

Ferritin, high
Absorption rate on iron (ferritin) needs to be NO lower than 30% and is better if at 50%. Low on that rate can cause Restless Leg issues which can be 1) annoying 2) cause sleep deprivation which can lead to weight GAIN!

Sounds like the Bari-Life stuff that is super expensive and totally worthless.

OH dear.... This stuff isn't BAD, it just isn't enough. I would finish this stuff AND take the vites.

I didn't order this. Tried to order Vitalady, but they were out of some of the vitamins they use to make their packages.
